Why Should You Use a Safety Harness? Read On!

One way to prevent this is by deploring the use of a safety harness. Yes, it looks like a leash only cuter, but it gives your child the necessary freedom and keeps you close to them at all times. One of the best things about it is they are easier to use than a stroller, and toddlers usually don’t mind them as much.

In crowded areas your toddler can skirt away hiding in and under things quickly. It may even be a game to them, but it can cause panic for you. These harnesses come in cute fabrics and designs and ultimately allow your child the freedom to roam but the boundaries they need so you can be sure you never lose track of them.

One Way to Ensure Your Child Won’t Be Picked up by a Predator!

No predator is going to try and kidnap your child when they can plainly see that you are attached to them. Some of the safety harnesses have a doll with a tail attached to them and your toddler may even think they are playing a game. Choose a harness which is adjustable and securely fastens so your child cannot break lose at a moments notice. They normally attach around your child’s waist and can be modified as your child grows. You do want to ensure your child is walking steadily before trying these out so you won’t be ‘pulling’ your toddler around.

If you have a toddler then clearly you can see the need for these devices. Before you visit any place where you can expect a crowd or where danger could be lurking near by (like at the beach) invest in one and play around at home with it for a while. You will probably find like many moms that your child is open to the game and truly enjoys their outings much more than they would strapped into a stroller.
